1. Do not drink water with  full of stomach after eating meals.  Due to this, digestive juices become diluted and that can causes indigestion.

2. Drink the water about 40 minutes later of food intake.

3. Do not lie down soon after eating. The reason is that the intestines will find it difficult to function. Digestion will not take place properly.

4. Sleep at least after an hour of lunch or dinner.

5. Don’t take a bath after eating. Leave atleast 2 hours gap.

6. Do not eat any fruits after eating meals .  This is because the food takes minimum 3 hours for digestion. Whereas, fruits take only one hour. Due to this difference, the fruit that we ate may produce gas.  The only exceptional fruit to eat after taking meals, is Dates.

7. Do not eat any other food soon after meals, as already eaten food will seriously affect the digestion.  This may leads to diabetes also.

8. Do not drink soft drinks, ice cream, ice water also after taken meals. Because, we need heat in our intestines to digest food. These cold drinks will supress the heat in the intestine which may leads to indigestion problem.

9. Do not run or walk or lift heavy things after eating. If you do so, the food will come upwards instead of downwards which may causes chest irritation and gas problems.
