Ingredients
- Drumstick leaves - 1 cup
- Banana stem - 1 medium size
- Chopped Big onion - 1/2 cup
- Chillie powder - 1tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Black Gram Dhal - 1 tsp
- Ginger Paste - 1/2 tsp
- Roasted bengal gram flour - 2 tsp
- Salt - for taste
- Chopped curry leaves - little
Instructions
- Clean the greens and chop it.
- Cut banana stem into small cuts.
- In one tsp. of Gingelly oil add mustard seed and dhal with curry leaves.
- Add ginger paste and chopped onion. Saute it for some time.
- Now add banana stem cuts followed by turmeric powder, chillie powder, salt and required water to cook.
- When the stem is half cooked add greens. Cook it for five minutes.
- At last sprinkle gram flour for binding purpose and to enhance the taste as well.
